In October, I started a brand new Halloween story on Kindle Vella, and I’m having fun with my wacky demon, slightly irritated witch, and the random guy they’ve somehow managed to rope into a threesome. Have you been reading?

Kidnapping a guy is pretty damn rude. But executing that kidnapping right as your victim is probably about to talk a guy into a threesome and/or chocolate cake is like adding salt to your poor victim’s wound.

Okay, so Noah wasn’t technically about to give me cake. Really, it had seemed a bit more like he was holding the door open, as if welcoming my kidnapper in. I frowned, thinking about that for a minute. Had Noah set me up? For whatever reason, couldn’t convince myself that it was a setup. He was probably opening the door to see if the cake had arrived. Damn, I needed to stop thinking about that cake.

The basement was slightly creepy and very dusty. It had that damp cold you only found in basements and caves, and a slight odor of mildew. I wanted to cover my nose with something, but my hands were, unfortunately, bound to the wall by some heavy metal manacles. What kind of person kept manacles in their basement?

Then again, what kind of person kidnapped innocent demons who were just trying to seduce sexy billionaires and eat cake?
